What I consider one of the leading problems in Bosnia and Herzegovina is the education system. I am particularly referring to the ethnic separation and segregation of children in primary schools, as well as the lack of a common curriculum. For years, there has been talk about an education reform, which is deliberately not implemented by politicians in BiH. All this has long-term negative consequences for the entire society.

While we needlessly waste time trying to figure out other people’s names and ethnic background, every day more and more young people are leaving the country, and BiH is slowly becoming the country of the old.

Activism is the only way in which we can analyze the problems within the local community, and that's why we need to work on solving those problems. In addition, through activism, we can contribute to improving the overall situation, not only by identifying problems, but also by proactively reacting, in order to avoid possible unwanted consequences. Bosnia and Herzegovina is a beautiful country, full of smart and hard-working people, and I think that by preserving that wealth, we are achieving a better image in the world and enable future generations to stay here and contribute to the development of the entire Bosnia-Herzegovina society. Considering that I have a great desire to help young people stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina, that is my great motive for solving the mentioned problem.

The lack of interest of young people in the problems that concern them, the absence of volunteerism and activism, and the lack of interest in participating in decision-making at the local community level are, in my opinion, key problems that are motivating for me. The activism that young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina are engaged in is one of the basic ways in which it is possible to contribute to building peace and a better future, which is also my motivation to join a project like the UNFPA project, which gives young people the opportunity to say what they think, but also to work together on certain projects and/or volunteer, and the ways in which it is possible to realize the unity of young people in achieving a better and more prosperous future.
