UNFPA Annual Country Program Document Event (CPD) is a platform to facilitate experience exchange, summation of results achieved and ways forward. CPD Event allows for strategic level discussions over interventions in UNFPA key mandate areas: sexual and reproductive health, youth and adolescents, gender equality and women’s empowerment and population dynamics. Additionally, the event was used as an opportunity for UNFPA to give out awards for substantive contributions and note-worthy achievements by individuals, initiatives or organizations in UNFPA core mandate areas.
Annual CPD event brought together around 70 participants; representatives of key stakeholders, decision makers, civil society activists, public service providers, experts, academia and youth, all giving their contributions and inputs to UNFPA planning for 2018.
