Violence against women is present in all societies. It is deeply rooted in inequality between women and men that reinforces gender discrimination and gender hierarchies. In Bosnia and Herzegovina the prevalence of violence against women is high, affecting well-being and life opportunities. In an effort to better understand this, the research analyses the links between masculinities and violence against women, with the aim to increase evidence and inform evidence-based policy and programme design.
